Quick Tip #2: Traveling with Meds

1. If you carry syringes, needles or anything in a vial, get a letter from your doctor saying you need to keep these items with you on the plane and/or in your luggage.
2. Bring copies of your prescriptions, and possibly multiples of the medicine itself, just in case your medication gets lost.
3. Carry medicine on the plane with you. Losing your luggage is bad enough – losing your luggage AND your medication is a disaster.
4. Consider buying and wearing a medical ID bracelet or necklace during your trip. Include your name, illness/condition, allergies and any other important info.
