UPDATE 1/19: The photo was taken at the ancient Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. About four hours Northwest of Cusco, Machu Picchu is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley. Rediscovered by American historian Hiram Bingham in 1911, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and recently declared New Wonder of the World is visited by several thousand tourists each year.
