UPDATE 7/12: The photo was taken in San Francisco on Haight Street. The area is known for its role at the center of the 1960s hippie movement, and to this day counterculture and hippie nostalgia are present in the neighborhood from the numerous piercing and head shops to the vintage clothing and book stores.
