Kid-Friendly, NileGuide Updates — By Josh Steinitz on January 28, 2010 at 11:38 am

We’ve long recognized that the travel content required for smooth and fun family travel is different than what’s needed for a solo backpacker. That’s why we’re happy to announce a partnership with one of the most trusted Internet resources for traveling families, Ciao Bambino. Now on NileGuide.com, you’ll find 13 family-friendly travel guides authored by real parents and experts at Ciao Bambino. Each guide offers a slew of recommendations and a suggested itinerary that can be printed out, accessed on an iPhone (with our Guide-to-Go app), or further customized using NileGuide’s standard planning and filtering tools.

Get your planning on and have a look at guides for London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Rome, Singapore, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington D.C., San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles. More guides for top family destinations will be published in the coming months.

Many of the guides have great not-so-touristy locations…who knew Hong Kong was so kid friendly?

Kids or no kids – I want one of those sweet buns with Mickey Mouses’ silhouette at the Hong Kong Disney park!

I am just going to the visit with my family, so very valuable to me.

  • If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you. Have you tried the ipad? you can get one free at FreshGiftCard.com
