At nearly 6km high, Cotopaxi is one of the world&#039;s highest active volcanoes. In 1975 the snow suddenly disappeared....only a matter of time before it blows I think. The brave enough can go on 1-8 day trekking/horse riding adventures through Ecuador&#039;s volcano land. Fabulous.</description>
