Back in March, NileGuide reported on the Nominees for this year’s James Beard Awards, a foodie’s equivalent of the Oscars and the Golden Globes all rolled into one. The Beard Awards are no joke; past winners have gone on to global acclaim and renowned careers. On Monday night, the nation’s best chefs gathered at New York’s Lincoln Center to see who would take home this year’s top honors. And the winners are…
