New NileGuide Feature: My Places!

New Features, NileGuide Updates — By Amy Widdowson on July 7, 2010 at 8:42 am

Here at NileGuide HQ, we pride ourselves on providing the best recommendations for eating, sleeping, drinking, and just plain doing on your next trip. Alas, we are not omniscient travel overlords, so we decided to open it up to you, our loyal users. Introducing My Places!

With My Places, you can create your own points of interest to include in your guide. Staying at Aunt Myrtle’s and want to see her home on a map? Use My Places to create a unique, private point of interest – anything you can dream up at all – and you’ll be able to add it to your itinerary.

Shocked and appalled that we *gasp* forgot your favorite local tapas bar? Use the Public My Place feature to add your hometown haunts to NileGuide, and share your expertise with the world. Your My Place will become a crucial part of our database of local recommendations.

We want you to add your favorite places to NileGuide. So go to it!
