There aren’t many places in the world that can hold a sky like this and readily feed the horses below. But the open country of Montana provides scenic landscape and plenty of food for the many animals that live there.

Though the state ranks fourth in area, it has the third lowest population density in the United States. Farming is a large part of the state’s economy, but tourists get to experience the mostly-untouched beauty of the Rocky Mountains, Glacier National Park, and part of Yellowstone National Park.
