Decidedly more bad a** than a lighter, the Swedish FireSteel is a piece of magnesium alloy that sparks to make fire. It was developed by the Swedish Department of Defense, and works by running a metal blade over the FireSteel, creating sparks that can be used to light anything from a campfire to a BBQ. It works in rain or snow, and will last for around 12,000 strikes.
