Though Norway is the second least-populated country in Europe, its extensive coastline offers both locals and tourists a magnificent waterway to see and experience. The tiny town of Olden in the county of Sogn & Fjordane is just one of hundreds of picturesque hamlets along the fjord Nordfjord in Western Norway.

If you like long days of light, the best time to visit Norway is between May and July, when the country experiences almost 20 hours of light a day. Beware visiting Norway in the winter – daylight hours are very short from November to January.
