With the downturn in the economy, you may not be purchasing that Rolls Royce you had on your list for 2012. Luckily, you can still smell those expensive leather seats for a weekend or so…if you make it to the UK, that is.
Hertz rentals has created its “Supercars” series, which offers not only Rolls Royces, but Bentleys and Ferraris and other high-end vehicles for rent. Unfortunately for Americans, these options are only available at their British outposts, meaning you can cruise around in London traffic in an Aston Martin for the bargain price of under £4,000 pounds (about $8,000) a week.
If the price tag to rent that gleaming red Ferrari’s price seems exceptionally high, you can still rent Mercedes SUVs for the bargain price of £150 a day (and yes, in comparison makes this seem like a fantastic deal).
But maybe you’re looking to REALLY splurge. Again, you have to head to England, but you can rent a Bugatti Veyron for only $40,000 a day. With a purchase price tag of $1.3 million, that’s truly a bargain.
Just don’t forget to get the extra insurance on that one.
