Where did the name NileGuide come from?
The Nile river has been a source of myth and inspiration for thousands of years, and continues to beguile travelers today. The quest to discover the true source of the Nile is perhaps history’s greatest travel epic. Flowing from the hills of East Africa to the pyramids of Egypt, the Nile is a both a famed travel destination and a metaphor for unique travel experiences.
Henry Stanley took 2 years and needed 200 porters to verify the true source of the Nile and find Dr. David Livingstone. NileGuide helps you plan great trips with a few clicks of the mouse!
