Description:
One of the most exclusive seafood restaurants in town, Rosdahls is housed in an old converted sugar warehouse right down on the Limfjord River, close to the heart of the city. The fish arrive each day from auction in Hanstholm, and other raw goods are delivered from the Danish countryside as well as France and Italy. In spite of its rustic setting, this is one of the most elegant restaurants in town, with Philippe Starck chairs. There is also a wine and tapas bar adjoining. The best of seasonal ingredients go into the fusion cuisine that blends Danish flavors with the Mediterranean kitchen. Specialties include the chef's home-smoked bacon, tureen of smoked eel, pasta with pumpkin and sage, and halibut with chanterelles. A fresh food market takes place here every Saturday between 9am and 2:30pm.
