• Most of Acapulco's gay bars are clustered just off the Costera near Condesa Beach. Demas is almost exclusively for men who come for its handsome bartenders, fun crowd, loud music, large dance floor, and, to be honest, seriously cruisy atmosphere. If you don't want to be groped, stay out of the upstairs dark room with its flat screen TV showing porn. Sexy male strippers dance on top of the bar and are more than happy to accept your tips. No one arrives at Demas before 11:00 pm but it really doesn't get busy until after midnight. Next door to Demas is Savage and you can visit both clubs by paying one cover charge. Savage offers an extravagant lounge show that is a throwback to Las Vegas circa 1962, complete with campy feather headdresses, drag queens of a certain age, and over-the-top production numbers. The clubs are located near Fiesta Americana Hotel.
