Description:

• Siboney -- inside the discoteque Mandara, on the Escénica at Las Brisas -- is a smart piano bar and adult entertainment club that has been going a long time. It draws a loyal crowd of well-heeled Acapulqueños who dress up to hear their favorite songs performed by quality pianists/singers. Quite often, famous Mexican performers who happen to be in town show up and join in, giving the club a sense of spontaneity and privilege that is quite unique. Glass walls overlook the glittering city and its bay. Requests for songs are welcome, and you can participate in the singing too. This is a warm atmosphere when you catch a friendly night, but perhaps not so easy to penetrate as an outsider. Dress tends to be elegant, and certainly should be smart.
