- Both la Quebrada and the traditional Zócalo - famous for its ancient Cathedral - are easily reachable from the Sutter Hotel. The hotel is downtown, two blocks from the pier, where visitors can rent a boat and tour the bay. There are 28 modest, but clean, rooms with ceiling fans and safe-deposit boxes. The hotel provides reservation service for any of the yachts, which usually take tourists on a tour of the port. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but it is literally surrounded by them, so delicious Acapulco seafood is abundant.
