Pesca'o - Acapulco
  • Cuisines: Seafood
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

    Great fish tacos!

  • Description:

    • One expat's Mexican husband reports that the fish tacos at Pesca'o "…will knock your socks off," and he doesn't even wear socks. Pesca'o is a classic after-beach joint with cement floors and a surfboard sign hovering over the café tables and bar stools that line the narrow sidewalk. Inside it's a pretty relaxed place – utensils in jars, bowls of limes, and crackers are set out on a handful of black iron tables. Crisply fried fish or shrimp are popular choices; they come wrapped in flour or corn tortillas and drizzled with Thousand Island dressing. Choose from of six different salsas to spice your tacos or add sliced tomatoes and onion dressed with olive oil and pepper. Friendly waiters, cheap prices, and lively music complete the experience. Home delivery is available if you live in the neighborhood. Pesca'o is located near the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Casa de la Cultura.
