Zibu - Acapulco
  • Cuisines: Asian, Seafood, Thai
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

It's a crime to rush the Zibu experience, or to leave it to chance. You can sit happily in the rattan chairs in the open air bar with a selection of delicious cocktails while waiting for a table, but - best of all - book first and then arrive early.

  • Description:

    • Probably the best restaurant in town, Zibu is not cheap so budget for a real night out (adding in your taxi there and back, as, between the edge of Acapulco Dorado and the start of Diamante, it is not walking distance from anywhere), dress up and relax. The ambiance, all bamboo and stone and tropical woods, with glimmering torches will put you in the mood, and service and the warm welcome and view over the petite bay of Pichilingue at night, make for a romantic mood that is what this ingenious and stylish landmark is all about (see its website). The dishes are impeccable so whether you plump for a green curry or hazard something you have not heard of before, odds are you will be delighted. Formal dress is appropriate, as other diners will probably be glamorous and dressed up to the nines. Remember it's night time only. Reservations advised.
