Description:

  • This monument is located on the seabed between Caleta beach and La Roqueta Island. The statue of the Virgin of Guadalupe was placed here by local fishermen, and can be seen, along with a huge diversity of aquatic plants and animals, through special glass-bottomed boats that depart daily from Caletilla beach. If you are in Acapulco on the 12th of December (the anniversary of this Virgin), you will be able to witness a procession of locals, surrounded by flowers and handmade crafts, and listen to their music.
