• A round of golf can cost a small fortune at Acapulco's world-renowned courses but not at the public Club de Golf Acapulco. Greens fees at the nine-hole, par-35 course, which is also open evenings, are a mere US$52 and includes access to the club's other facilities. Open daily from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, the 5,091-yard long campo de golf features two par-3 holes, six par-4, and one par-5.
  
  The Acapulco Golf Club is convenient for players staying in the Golden Zone who don't want to make the half-hour trek to the hotel courses in the Diamond Zone. Clubs and carts can be rented and caddie service is offered, as well. Consult the website for operating hours for the driving range, swimming pool, pro shop, Restaurante Hoyo 19 (19th Hole), and Pinkis Bar. There are private 18-hole courses near the airport.
