The yacht club, which is located in Traditional Acapulco near the Zócalo, arranges first-class charters of its 20 luxury yachts, complete with full crew. A Mexican institution since the 1950s, Acapulco Yacht Club organizes regattas including the San Diego-Acapulco Challenge in October. The club maintains 250 boat slips – 15 for visitors, where you can moor your own boat next to those of Mexico's wealthiest sailors.
Services for visiting yachtsmen include 110/220-volt electrical connection, pump-out, restrooms, showers, laundry service, and boat repairs. Other amenities for members and guests include a swimming pool, tennis court, gardens, and restaurant. A two-day fishing tournament, the Torneo de Pesca Luis G.
