Turtle Bay Cafe and Bakery

Turtle Bay Cafe and Bakery - Akumal
  • Cuisines: Fusion
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Try their homemade, baked goods. Great Prices.

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Try their arrival dinner, served at your hotel.

    Description:

    • This is the perfect breakfast place. The huevos rancheros are the best in the area. Also, try any of their tropical smoothies or homemade pastries from the bakery. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the menu for each is large and varied, and it includes Mexican, American, and Asian dishes, as well seafood. Considering the quality, their prices are low for the Mayan Riviera.

The owners, Bart and Jennifer are U.S. expats and offer a warm ambiance in which to enjoy home-cooked food. Jennifer is a master baker and makes wedding cakes and does catering and wedding planning. In addition to these services, they offer delivery, specialty dinners for holidays, and an impressive (and very convenient) "arrival dinner" at your local rental - for your first night in the area. For golfers, Bart offers golf trips in the area and is a wealth of information for the sport.
