• This relaxing, grounding environment, with beautiful bays and lagoons, is an ideal location to practice yoga. The studio is located on the second floor at the entrance (at arches) of Akumal Playa and its glass windows allow for lots of sunlight and cooling breezes coming off the Caribbean. It offers a variety of yoga classes provided by teachers with eclectic backgrounds. Time your trip right and you may have a chance to take a class from renowned teacher, Michael Stewart. If not, not to worry, because Marti Johnston is in residence all year. Her centering class, which blends yoga with Feldenkrais practices and is appropriate for any level, is an unusual treat for the body and the mind.
  
  Classes cost $15 U.S. and are given in the morning and evening Monday-Friday and in the mornings on weekends.
