Al Ain National Museum

Al Ain National Museum - Al Ain

  • Description:

    • Next to the main oasis in the town center, this museum and fort was the birthplace of the late UAE ruler, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and was used to protect the oasis from raiders. The museum includes a collection of the gifts he received over the course of his life, photographs, and other exhibitions showcasing the culture and heritage of the Al Ain people. Distinct archaeological and ethnographical sections unveil the pre-oil history of the UAE.
