Getting There
FSE trains leave Bari every hour (every 2 hr. on Sun) heading to Alberobello. The trip takes about 1 3/4 hours and costs 3.50€ ($5.10). To find the trulli, follow Via Mazzini, which turns into Via Garibaldi, until you reach Piazza del Popolo. Turn left on Largo Martellotta, which will take you to the edge of the popular tourist area. If you have a car, head south of Bari on S100 and then east (signposted) on S172.

The tourist office in Alberobello is off the central square, Piazza del Popolo, at Piazza Ferdinando IV (tel. 080-4325171). It's open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:30am to 1pm, Tuesday and Friday 9am to 1pm and 4 to 7:30pm.
