Hi,
if you have a very good budget the best way is a helicopter. In our area there's the charter company Helisorrrento (www.helisorrento.com).
Otherwise you have to take the train to Naples and then a private car or the bus to Amalfi coast.

Hello, the best way is by road. Take the Bari-Naples motorway towards Avellino. In the vicinity of Avellino you will find the junction for the road to Salerno. In Salerno the 'Costiera Amalfitana', ( coastal road ) is easy to join, and which you follow to Amalfi. Journey time is circa 4hrs.
Buon Viaggio!
