Cayo Espanto

• Whether you're a bona fide member of the jet set or you just want to feel like one, this is the place for you in Belize. Six individual bungalows are spread across this private island. Each bungalow is luxurious and elegantly appointed and set on the edge of the Caribbean Sea, and each comes with a private butler. All but one of the bungalows has a private plunge pool, and all have a private pier jutting out into the ocean. All have wide French doors and windows that open onto private decks and verandas and stunning views. A couple of the bungalows are set up to accommodate two couples or a small family. There's no restaurant or common lounge area here. All meals are served in your villa, or out on your own private deck or dock area. Service is very attentive and pampering, and the food is excellent. A minimum stay of 5 nights is required most of the year; it gets bumped up to a solid week during peak periods, although this is somewhat negotiable, depending upon demand. You can also rent the entire island. Cayo Espanto is located just off the western tip of Ambergris Caye.
