There are over 150 interactive exhibits divided into the three broad themes of Humankind, the Natural World and Technology. They include: Milk a cow, a TV broadcast studio, a stage with costumes,a dinosaur, a climbing wall and a recent aquarium added in 2009. Outdoors permanent exhibits include: power of water, natural musical instruments, miniature landmarks from around the world. On the website there is a virtual tour and a photo gallery of the exhibits. The museum is a member of the Association of Children's Museums and Hands on Europe.
