Getting There
By Train or Bus -- Three or four trains arrive every day from Würzburg (trip time: 90 min.), and 12 arrive from Aschaffenburg (trip time: 45 min.). For railway information, call tel. 01805/996633. However, there are no direct trains. Passengers must arrive first in Miltenberg for a change of trains before proceeding on to Amorbach.
By Car -- From Miltenberg, follow Route 469 south for 11km (7 miles).
Visitor Information
The Stadt Verkehrsamt, at the Rathaus, Marktplatz 1 (tel. 09373/20940), is open May to September Monday to Friday 9:30am to noon and 2:30 to 5:30pm, Saturday 10am to 1pm. In October, hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am to noon and 3 to 5pm. From November to April, it is open Monday to Friday 10am to noon and 3 to 5pm.
