• Amstelhaven has an excellent waterside location close to the famous Amstel Hotel. In the summer it's extremely popular for people arriving by boat to sit on the terrace overlooking the canal - attracting a quite upmarket crowd. In the evenings it's a restaurant and bar, attracting a cross section of mainly locals. The music changes per night, so check their website. The menu has a French influence and offers mediocre quality for a reasonable price. From October until March the restaurant transforms itself into an 'apres ski' bar.
