• One of Amsterdam's largest music venues , Badcuyp offers a mix of regular set nights and guest performances. The venue attracts a mix of hip 30 somethings and a slightly alternative crowd depending on the night. Basically everyone is welcome and more importantly, made to feel welcome. Acts range from live jazz music to salsa  Dutch artists to disco and soul nights, and Brasilian dance to one man stand up. The place is wonderfully decorated in a unique retro style with a complete nightclub lighting system. It occupies two vast floors which provide for ample seating and dancing space.
  
  If you're not  into partying, you can still visit the excellent in-house cafe, which specializes in organic food. It offers four main courses for under Euro 16 every day. Badcuyp is easy to find in a side street of the famous Albert Cuyp market.
