De Drie Fleschjes opened 29 June 1650, two years after the construction of the Town Hall (now the Royal Palace) began. Located near Dam Square, it is the oldest tasting house (Proeflokaal) in Amsterdam and the interior has changed little over the years. Try a Dutch drink, such as a Grolsch beer on draft or one of the Dutch Gins, perhaps Corenwyn. They are open Monday through Saturday from 14:00 to 20:30 and Sunday from 15:00 to 19:00.
