Description:
- This cosy, intimate restaurant is located in the heart of Jordaan in an old blacksmith's smithy. Booking is highly recommended as this restaurant is still hugely popular. Balthazar's keuken has space for up to 35 people and the open kitchen, which feels like you're in a small french brasserie, allows you to watch the chef/owner at work. The food has an international flavour, using only fresh ingredients, and each week a new fixed 3 course menu is available. There is no choice, however the chef will take into account any personal requirements, for example if you don't like fish or if you're vegetarian. The price of the menu is reasonable at Euro 29.50 (price in 2011)
