Description:

• Blue is a cafe located in a two storey glass box located on the roof of the Kalvertoren Shopping Centre. To get there, take the lift in the shopping centre to the top floor and you'll come out inside the cafe bar. It's got a modern interior with a mix of tall cocktail tables and stools, and normal tables. Because it's completely made of glass, there are 360 degree views over the whole of Amsterdam. They have a simple menu with soups and sandwiches, which are all made to a very high standard and above average in terms of size. You pay a slight premium for the view. Drinks and food are around 10% more than other cafes in Amsterdam, but the staff are very friendly and everything from the fittings to the food is of high quality, and you would expect the prices to be much higher.
