NileGuide Expert Says:
Central, reasonable priced, great quality food and good service.
Description:
- This fresh and bright cafe is tucked away in a side alley behind the Nieuwe Kerk on the Dam Square. The menu offers some surprising twists. For example, where normally you might find the standard ham and cheese toasty, here you'll find a toasty with gorgonzola and fruits of the forest jam. They've also go the most wonderful Red Velvet Cake, which is basically an amazingly moist and chocolaty cake with a creamy cheese frosting. The service is extremely good, and even in the extra room upstairs (important to note as it's always busy) you won't be forgotten. Oh – and if you're feeling really hungry then opt for the extensive high tea!
