Eat Mode

• Eat Mode is modern Asian fusion restaurant with wooden benches and tables. It's located on the Zeedijk, between Nieuwmarkt and Central station. It's more of an upmarket fast food restaurant, so don't expect soft lighting and comfortable chairs which encourage you to hang around for hours on end chatting. Customers tend to come for a reasonably priced, fresh, filling meal. While it's busy for most of the day, you can normally walk in and get a table, or at the most have to wait for a few minutes.

  The food is freshly prepared and a good standard and the menu is extensive, catering for all Asian tastes. Prices for a main course are very reasonable at around Euro 8. Dishes range from tempura udon soup to Peking duck, and salad with Thai coriander dressing to Sushi. They also have a range of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.
