• Everything about this restaurant gets top marks. The food, the service and the ambiance all deserve a compliment. From the outside the restaurants appears to be someone's house, but on the inside there's a true upmarket restaurant feel, without the pretensions. You could in fact be in a small and cosy restaurant in the centre of Paris once you're inside. The French touch is also reflected on the menu. It combines classic French dishes with a modern twist, for example a classic steak with a tamarind sauce. With the three course menu price at around Euro 70 (price in 2011) it's certainly not on the cheap side. But you're almost guaranteed to be sitting shoulder to shoulder with some of the Netherlands best known celebrities! Be warned though, despite the prices they don't seem to have a problem filling tables, so book well in advance. Oh – and did I mention that it has 1 Michelin Star?
