Description:

  • Sherpa may be a little short on the mystical tranquillity that characterizes its Himalayan homeland, but that's to be expected -- it's hard for tranquillity to survive in this brash restaurants-and-bars district. Anyway, Sherpa adds a bit of culinary diversity to the area and its prices are reasonable. What's more, it's the only restaurant of its kind in Holland. You can eat "Yeti's food" (fried noodles with fried chicken and sautéed vegetables) or sample various other Nepalese and Tibetan favorites, including traditional grills.
