• Yoichi is one place you shouldn't miss when in Amsterdam. Kimono-clad waitresses seat you at a table where you can peruse a menu consisting of cooked seaweed, fishcakes, soya bean soup, deep-fried pork filets, pancakes, mixed hotpot, and so on. You can opt either for the regular table or the low table (Japanese style). The minimalist decor is definitely Oriental, with dark wood panels reminiscent of Japanese movies. Vegetarians can check out a special menu just for them. Prices may seem steep, but with food like this, all is forgiven.
