The Allard Pierson Museum, University of Amsterdam's archaeological museum, is home to both permanent and special collections featuring ancient civilization's everyday life, mythological and religious artifacts. From ancient Egypt to the Roman Empire, the museum aims to analyze our history to better help visitors understand the present. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00. Admission is €6.50 for adults and €3.25 for ages 4 to 16.
