• The Kalvertoren is located in the heart of the city, on Amsterdam's most commercial street, the Kalverstraat. However, its address is not actually on Kalverstraat, as this shopping center has multiple entrances. In 1998, the shopping center tower won the prestigious annual European Shopping Center Award that is presented by the ICSC, the International Council of Shopping Centers. There are more than thirty exclusive stores here, spread over three floors, such as Mango, DKNY, Timberland, Hugo Boss, Levi's, Kipling and Replay. The big glass and steel tower has a staircase, an escalator and an elevator, ferrying customers to the top. There, you will have an amazing view of Amsterdam's inner city. Besides many exclusive shops, it is also home to two department stores, various cafes, and a nice restaurant.
