• Opened in 1631, this church is currently located next to the Anne Frankhuis. The church is easily seen from far away due to its tall tower capped with the blue Holy Roman Emporer crown, whose use was given to the city by Maximilian I. Rembrandt was buried in a pauper's grave somewhere in this church. But, since no one knows where, a memorial plaque has been placed near the grave of his son, Titus.
