Hey, It actually depends on which time of the year you will be going, but generally I could offer a few pointers. I'll try give you some names, the current price rates to the best of my knowledge, and the phone number of the places.

Hotel The Exchange (020 206 1738) is within walking distance of Beurs van Berlage, Oude Kerk, and Dam Square. It is generally clean and friendly and rates are about €50 p.n. at the moment. Hotel The Exchange features a restaurant. Room service is available during limited hours. The hotel serves full breakfasts each morning in the restaurant (surcharges apply).

Hotel Manofa (020 206 1738) has similar prices as well as similar facilities and comfort.

Less fancy but more economical, around €20 p.n., is the Tourist Inn (020 206 1738), located in Amsterdam, close to Beurs van Berlage, Nieuwe Kerk, and Dam Square.

Heart of Amsterdam is also a very cheap place in... the heart of Amsterdam (Tel: 020 206 1738) and costs about €15-20 p.n.

Damrak Inn (020 206 1738) also has decent facilities for the affordable price of €40 p.n. and is located straight in the centre of Amsterdam near the station.
