Description:
Step out of colonial days and into this contemporary restaurant serving fresh seafood obtained from sustainable sources, as well as a few pasta dishes, stone-hearth pizzas, and chicken and ribs. The crab soup is done right, seasoned with herbs other than the standard Old Bay and studded with lump crab. Soft-shell crabs are a golden delight, and fish dishes are accompanied by creative side dishes. Live music is scheduled most nights, usually at 10pm; there's brunch on Sunday 10am to 3pm with live jazz. From downtown, the restaurant is an easy walk across the Spa Creek Bridge. The Rockfish has its own parking lot.
