Description:
Devotees of modern art can now visit the former home of this German abstract painter and his wife, also an artist. You must reserve space as only 30 visitors are allowed on the weekly tour because of security reasons. The stark-white villa was designed by Hartung himself, who lived here until his death in 1989. The couple left 16,000 paintings, photographs, and engravings, and you get to see only a fraction on one visit. Exhibitions are rotated throughout the year.
