Whether you're looking to hang out a beach bar or to dance the night away at a club, you'll definitely find fun in the nightlife and bars located on Antigua. As with any destination, the bars and nightclubs on Antigua tend to be more lively on the weekend and during the busy winter season; off season, many establishments are actually closed.
With the majority of bars and nightlife located in the main tourist areas of English Harbour and Dickenson Bay, you can also find other options around the island such as Shirley Heights, where celebrity spotting is common.
A popular pastime on Antigua is trying your luck at one of the island's casinos, which are generally found in and around St. John's such as King's Casino, the largest casino on the island featuring blackjack, poker, roulette, and slot machines.
If you'd like to explore the club scene on Antigua, check out The Cockpit. Or visit The Galley Bar & Restaurant.
Be sure to try local specialty drinks like the ever popular rum punch (available with dark or light rum), Wadadli beer, and the bubbly grapefruit drink known as Ting.
