Galley Bar & Restaurant (The)

• For the past fifteen years, this delightful bar and restaurant has attracted old salts and new tourists with it's setting and ambiance. From about noon onwards, you'll catch any number of local yachtsmen bending an elbow here, almost as they do in the English pubs. Set on a perfect spot at the water's edge, it is surrounded by tropical foliage— the building is one of the original stone structures from the British Royal Navy's heyday in the Dockyard. About eight wooden tables are angled for perfect harbor views to create an intimate dining spot. There are always several good local beers and imports, a few basic wines and ingredients for any spirited tropical drink. The menu changes often and even includes sandwiches and burgers at times.
