  • The Best of NileGuide

  • Located at the southwest end of the Caribbean islands, Aruba is one of the most pleasant islands in the world. Because of Atlantic Ocean trade winds, the weather isn't as hot as many islands, but pleasant throughout the year. Aruba also enjoys a calm summer and fall that is typically unaffected by hurricanes. Since it's located further south, hurricane typically don't affect the island. This makes Aruba a more popular choice than some of the other Caribbean islands during the summer. Furthermore, Aruba is one of the sunniest places on earth, with very little rain throughout the year. Though anytime of year is perfect for weather, the best time to get the full Aruba experience is during the spring. This is often the most pleasant part of the year, but also when Aruba hosts their Carnival, which highlights the culture of the island. Spanning a few weeks, Aruba's carnival features the best art, food and activities of the island. It also features many activities for kids, for visitors traveling with as a family. Aruba is one of the best islands for getting around. Many Caribbean islands have one major road going around the outside of the island, and then a lot of narrow and often unpaved roads on the interior. Aruba features a very diverse road system that is much more sophisticated, and ultimately better for those who are thinking about renting a car. However, renting a car can be very expensive, both for the daily rental, plus the charge for gas. Many travelers choose Aruba over other islands because of its casino life. Aruba features many casinos around the island; a mini Las Vegas. It's certainly not on any type of scale like Vegas, but is still an alternative that visitors won't find on other islands.

Join Atlantis Adventures for an exciting voyage to depths of 120 feet below the Caribbean Sea on the Atlantis Submarine Tour. This fascinating adventure has been in operation since 1990, voted Aruba's most outstanding attraction.

Situated on Aruba's Winward Coast, Natural Bridge was the island's most visited tourist destination and one of the Caribbean's most distinguishable sights until it collapsed on September 5th, 2005.
