  • This hostel in West Asheville is named after two gold fish, Bon Paul and Sharky. It is a perfect getaway for backpackers or groups that prefer to share rooms. All rooms are co-ed dormitories with air-conditioning and 15 bunk-beds. Standard rate is $21 for a bunk bed for a night and discounts if you are a group of 6 or more people. One Private room that sleeps two is also available, as is an only female dorm. It also offers lockers and short term luggage storage. In addition, the hostel has a full kitchen, back deck, cookouts, fireplace, board games and free outdoor dog kennels. There are plenty of adventure trails near the hostel, so you can rent a bike and explore the country side of Asheville.
