Black Mountain: Asheville

Just outside of Asheville is the small, yet cozy and popular town of Black Mountain. If you're looking for the Asheville experience, without the big city feel, than Black Mountain is a sure bet. Black Mountain is your typical small-town Mayberry with Main Street as the focal point of the city. Most of Black Mountain's shops and restaurants are within just a few blocks of one another. Surprisingly, one of Black Mountain's most popular restaurants is a pizza joint called My Father's Pizza, which is also located next to one of Asheville's most well-known bars and music venues, The Shed.
